Front-Door Pickup Service

Our MediCab drivers meet patients at their residence front door or condo lobby entrance and escort them to the taxi.

Prescription Pickup

Drivers can pick up prescriptions if needed.

Hospital Check-in Escort Service

Patients are escorted to check-in at the hospital nurse’s station or doctor’s office reception.

Home Return Escort Service

On arriving home, drivers will escort patients back to their residence.

Coming from the Neighbor Islands?

We can pick you up at the airport as well. Airport arrival reservations are “will call.”  We need you to call or use our online portal upon arrival to dispatch your taxi.

Please note:

  • MediCab is not an ambulance service. Drivers are not paramedics or caregivers and do not physically lift, carry, or push customers. 

  • Drivers assist with loading and unloading customers' walker, wheel chair or rollator. The driver can assist with pushing the customer in their wheel chair.

  • At single family homes, service begins and ends at the front door. At apartment buildings the driver may enter the main lobby.

  • When transporting elderly customers who need continuous assistance, we like to confirm that someone is waiting to receive the customer at drop-off.

  • We do not transport mobility scooters or wheelchairs unless they are collapsible, foldable or breakdown.

  • Transportation services are not chargeable to Medicaid or other insurance companies unless specifically authorized.

-By using MediCab, riders consent to arm in arm assistance to and from the car. 
-We remind customers to have the nurse or staff call our office at least 30 minutes prior to their appointment finishing for return pick up 
-Wait times can be longer than normal during heavy traffic and road construction but we will never leave you stranded.
-Drivers can pick up prescriptions if needed but there is an added cost. 
-On arriving home, drivers will escort patients back to the front door, lobby to their residence.
